Leather & Lace @ Electric Blues

Wow, what a great night!  Electric Blues has so much energy it's no wonder the Funkies had so much fun.  There was a 1500L contest for Best Leather & Lace.  Big congrats go out to our winners Cedar, Rush and Etain!  Cedar had some very nice lace cuffs on, we're not sure where Rush's lace was and well Etain took the cake! Friday was a Steampunk Theme Party at the Crazy Parrots!

We dressed up in our whackiest fantasty outfits... some had many.. and danced to music from DJ Butterfly until 2pm, then DJ Bobsnkief Orsini. We had a live performance as our own !Etain! gave us a Steampnk Fasion Show.  Cedar

Glow! Glam! Glitter! (Hevy)

Last night was all about unleashing our inner rock star!  Wearing glam, glitter, and shiny rock duds.  We pulled out our electric guitars and dancing shoes.  DJ Jaymes Capalini spun those classic rock tunes that were sure to bring out our inner rock star.  A spacious ballroom was booked at MOMA just for us! The Fun-kies made an entrance !

Etta James Tribute Dance.......... Blue Blue Blue.......

DJ Xavia streamed a marvelious Tribute to Etta James, an American singer that excelled at a variety of music genres including blues, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, soul, gospel and jazz.  She told us her history in nice antidotes to the music. We all got blue and gathered at are our HUMP Day spot, dressed in our favorite style with a little blue to wear.  Hevy

DJ Xavia introduced us to Mr. Michael Bublé and his singing friends Monday night at Casablanca.  Many joined us helping make GREAT Ladies and Gents lines as we listen and dance to the passionate sounds Michael Bublé and friends.

National Hug Day - Swing Dance at Zephyr's..

DJ Jaffee fired us up the dancing with big band, swing, jazz and New Orleans music ~AND~ at the end  Jaffee had a group hugger we used to have a nice HUG!

Classic Rock At MoMa Dance Hall

WOW is all Kellie can say!  Was amazing to see so many Funkies turn out for our Thursday night event at Moma Dance Hall with DJ Jaymes!  The Funkies were moving it to some great tunes like The Crazy Train by Ozzy, Pour Some Sugar On Me and many more.  I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.  Thank you so much to all who joined us!  Was a fantastic Funky night!
